  • This is a recording about the beginnings of Lee Choral Society. In conversation with Richard Dewland, June Witham and Jean Weeks, two of the choirs founding members, share memories.  It is a fascinating oral history of the inception of Lee Music Club from its first formation, the choice of repertoire and the organisation of the choir and its successful progress. The audio presentation is illustrated with photographs, news items and early programmes as it develops into the large Choral Society we have today in Lee-on-the-Solent.
